Luxfia: Journal of Multidisciplinary Research follows guidelines from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in handling all aspects of publication ethics, especially in managing cases of research and publication misconduct. This statement outlines the ethical behavior expected of all parties involved in the publication process in this journal, including authors, chief editors, editors, peer reviewers, and the publisher: PT RisTekUtama (Riset Cendekia Teknologi Utama).
This journal is committed to following best practices in handling ethical issues, errors, and article retractions. Preventing publication malpractice is a crucial responsibility of the editorial board. Any form of unethical behavior is unacceptable, and this journal does not tolerate plagiarism in any form.

As the publisher, PT RisTekUtama (Riset Cendekia Teknologi Utama) takes all stages of publishing seriously and upholds its ethical and professional responsibilities. Editorial decisions are not influenced by advertising, reprints, or other commercial revenue. The publisher and editorial board also communicate with other journals and publishers whenever necessary.
Publication Decisions
The Editor-in-Chief of Luxfia: Journal of Multidisciplinary Research is responsible for deciding which articles will be published. This decision is based on editorial evaluation and reviewer recommendations, while also considering legal requirements regarding libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism.
Non-Discrimination

Duties of Reviewers
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Luxfia: Journal of Multidisciplinary Research uses an open peer review system. Reviewers assist the editor in making editorial decisions and help authors improve the quality of their manuscripts.
Promptness
Editors are committed to providing timely review results. If a reviewer feels unqualified or unable to complete the review on time, the manuscript will be reassigned to another reviewer.
Confidentiality
Manuscript content must be treated as confidential and must not be discussed with anyone other than authorized individuals.
Standards of Objectivity
Reviews should be conducted objectively, and comments should be expressed clearly, respectfully, and with supporting arguments.
Acknowledgment of Sources
Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Reviewers must also notify the editor if they notice any substantial similarity with any other published manuscript.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Reviewers must not evaluate manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with any of the authors or institutions connected to the papers.
Duties of Authors
Reporting Standards
Authors must present an accurate and objective account of their research findings, as well as sufficient data to permit others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior.
Data Access and Retention
Authors may be asked to provide raw data in connection with a paper for editorial review and should be prepared to provide access within a reasonable timeframe.
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that their submitted manuscript is entirely original work. All works of others must be appropriately cited or quoted. Manuscripts containing plagiarism will be automatically rejected.
Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication
Authors should not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently. Doing so is considered unethical publishing behavior.
Acknowledgment of Sources
Authors must give proper acknowledgment of the work of others that contributed to the research.
Authorship of the Paper
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the content and writing of the paper. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors have approved the final version of the manuscript.
Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects
If the work involves chemicals, procedures, or equipment that have any unusual hazards, these must be clearly identified in the manuscript.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial or substantive conflicts of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support should also be disclosed transparently.
Fundamental Errors in Published Works
When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, it is the author's obligation to promptly notify the journal editor to correct or retract the paper.
