Analisis Ayat-Ayat Al-Qur'an Tentang Proses Penciptaan Manusia Melalui Pendekatan Tafsir Ilmi dan Kajian Sains

Human creation in the Qur’an is not limited to the question of human origin but also includes biological development, human completion, and spiritual and social dimensions. This study aims to analyze Qur’anic verses concerning human creation through a scientific exegesis approach and to critically relate them to modern embryology. The study employs a qualitative approach with a library research design. Primary data consist of selected Qur’anic verses on human creation, while secondary data include journal articles, exegetical works, and relevant scientific literature. Data were collected through documentation and analyzed descriptively and comparatively through data reduction, categorization, comparison, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that QS. Al-Mu’minun 12–14, QS. Al-Hajj 5, QS. As-Sajdah 7–9, QS. Al-Insan 2, QS. Al-Qiyamah 37–39, QS. Az-Zumar 6, and QS. Al-Hujurat 13 provide complementary descriptions of material origin, human development, completion, and social position. The Qur’anic terms nuthfah, ‘alaqah, and mudghah can be placed in dialogue with fertilization, implantation, and embryonic development, but they should not be treated as exact equivalents of modern medical terminology. The concept of ruh and the purpose of creation belong to theological domains that cannot be reduced to biological explanation. Therefore, scientific exegesis is more appropriately used as a dialogical space between revelation and science while maintaining the methodological boundaries of each field.
