Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan dalam QS. Al-Alaq Ayat 1-5: Analisis Literasi, Ilmu, dan Ketuhanan

- Al-‘Alaq verses 1–5 constitute one of the Qur’anic passages that provides a significant foundation for the development of Islamic educational thought. These verses contain fundamental principles concerning reading, acquiring knowledge, writing, and teaching within a divine framework. This study aims to analyze the educational values contained in QS. Al-‘Alaq verses 1–5 through M. Quraish Shihab’s interpretation in Tafsir Al-Mishbah and to examine their relevance to contemporary Islamic education. This study employs a qualitative approach using library research and content analysis with a thematic-interpretive approach. The primary sources consist of QS. Al-‘Alaq verses 1–5, the 2019 revised edition of the Indonesian Qur’an and its translation, and Tafsir Al-Mishbah. Secondary sources include relevant scholarly journal articles published within the last five years. Data were collected through documentation and analyzed through data reduction, thematic categorization, interpretation, and source comparison. The findings indicate that QS. Al-‘Alaq verses 1–5 construct an integrated educational paradigm. The first verse positions iqra’ as the foundation of literacy and the pursuit of knowledge, guided by the divine orientation of bismi rabbik. The second verse presents human beings as educational subjects who possess the potential to learn and develop. The third verse emphasizes the continuity of reading and lifelong learning, while the fourth introduces qalam as an instrument for documenting, developing, and transmitting knowledge. The fifth verse highlights teaching as a transformative process from ignorance to knowledge. Overall, the educational values of QS. Al-‘Alaq verses 1–5 integrate literacy, intellectual development, spirituality, lifelong learning, and ethical responsibility in acquiring, developing, and applying knowledge within Islamic education.
